I have not worked on a martial art book before and I had no idea what taekwondo was. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the Heart of Taekwondo and I feel as though I know everything about the theories, disciplines and structure of taekwondo.

I teach English and Taekwondo at my school. I leant my book to one of my students who I did not see again and they did not return my book. I often go back to the Heart of Taekwondo as it is so complete. So, I had to buy another copy. excellent book.

Essential kit for any Dan Grade

Anyone looking to take their taekwondo to the next level should read this book. If you don't get it for any other reason, get it for it's definitive guide to poomsae. An interesting read for students and instructors alike with personal insights from Grandmaster Biddlecombe many years of taekwondo practice.
